Interested in having your child play hockey, but unsure of where to begin in the sport ?  Is your child an inexperienced skater or new to the ice?  The EYHA Learn to Play hockey might be for you.  Learn to Play Hockey is an introductory level ice hockey program designed to teach and develop core ice hockey skills. Group sizes are small providing a better coach- to-player ratio.  Coaches will focus on the development of these ice hockey skills; including skating, puck control, stick-handling, positioning, passing and shooting in a fun and age appropriate manner.

Session 2 begins on Thursday, January 7th from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM and will continue on Thursdays through February 11th (5 x 1 hour practices - 1/7, 1/14, 1/21, 1/28, and 2/11).

Session 3 begins on Thursday, February 25th from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM and will continue on Thursdays through March 24th (5 x 1 hour practices - 2/25, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, and 3/24).

As part of the program, all registrants receive a free USA Hockey Jersey, starter stick, and use of EYHA Hockey equipment including helmet, gloves, shin, and elbow pads.
